The new $1.2 million tennis complex will be finished in around six weeks, and the first match on the new courts will be played toward the end of October.
The new courts are something the tennis team has been looking forward to since the start of construction.
“They’re going to have lights, and they’ll be more convenient,” senior Nicole Shortes said. “I’m excited that it’s my senior year, and we get new ones [courts].”
