Two speakers place at state competition
State winners– Sophomore Blayne Childers and senior Jadon Hatley placed at Texas Forensics Association state competition in Houston on March 8.
Two speech team members placed at the Texas Forensics Association state tournament in Houston on March 8.
Sophomore Blayne Childers took fifth place in dramatic interpretation and also took sixth place in duet acting with senior Jadon Hatley.
SHS’s team was named a top 10 school overall and received first place in 3A for the eighth year in a row.
