SkillsUSA members win at state
Four individuals and one project took honors at state SkillsUSA competition in Corpus Christi on April 1.
In automechanics, senior AJ Froese took first place in aviation maintenance technology, while senior Timothy Guenther took third place in motorcycle service technology.
In industrial arts, junior Seth Koedyker took third in carpentry.
In career prep, senior John Klassen took third place in architectural drafting.
The SkillsUSA local chapter CANstruction community service project, a sculpture of a lighthouse made out of canned food, took the Jurors Favorite Winner award.
